Vintage Love: Safari Chairs

I have been asked about the rosewood and strap chairs I have at home. They, like all other pieces of lovely furniture, found me on craigslist. My set is made of rosewood and leather. and the seller told me that he picked them from Bombay Store in the late 1970s.

These chairs are very similar to safari chairs designed by Arne Norell.

My set is not the original, but are super comfortable. The backrest has a swing action which makes the chair very ergonomic. Best part is they can be disassembled for storage and transport.
